my 5 year old step daughter has been asking for a robot for a while… i have seen a few out there at sharper image and places like that, but before i spend $60, i want to know what these things do exactly and will she quickly get bored of it.. also, when iwas younger, they used to make a robot that would ask educational things, and you had to push a button to answer, but i dont know if they make anything like that anymore… or, if anyone knows of one that her father and she can build together? any ideas?

I am interested on improving my performance on it especially on the programming and maintenance aspect of it. What course or school would I attend to improve my experience on it?
